Bureau Veritas opens the doors to our brand-new testing and inspection facility located in the port of Rotterdam

Bureau Veritas is pleased to announce the opening of our brand new, state-of-the-art facility located right in the centre of the port of Rotterdam.
“Rotterdam is of great strategic importance to our business”, says Martijn Sinke, General Manager North-West Europe for Agriculture & Food.
"Rotterdam has become one of the world’s leading ports and considered to be the gateway to Europe. Every year millions of tons of commodities are handled within the port, and thousands of vessels and barges enter the port. For these reasons, Bureau Veritas has established this brand-new facility right in in the heart of Europe’s busiest port."
The new facility accommodates all the three commodities businesses (Oil & Petrochemicals, Metals & Minerals and Agriculture & Food) in one building, so by being together under one roof, it is possible to capture the synergies between the businesses, raise efficiency, quicken turnaround times and allow us to meet the challenge of the global commodities market moving forwards.
