Bureau Veritas has just completed the transition to our new, state-of-the-art analytical laboratories, now co-located at our Wingfield site in South Australia.
The Thebarton site, which used to house the Geochemical Assay; Lube Oil Testing; Water, Gas and Petroleum analysis laboratories, was previously part of the University of Adelaide technology precinct, and served our business well over the years. However, ongoing business conditions, in conjunction with an ageing heritage listed building has necessitated a move to a purpose built facility. This move further enhances our commitment and investment into the Australian minerals and energy sectors, in particular, South Australia.
Established in 2006, the Wingfield site houses our mineralogy and mineral processing divisions, which also includes a dedicated large scale metallurgical testing facility. In addition, our geochemical sample preparation and fire assay facilities have been located at the Wingfield site since 2007.
With all these laboratory testing services now co-located in our state-of-the-art Wingfield facility, Bureau Veritas looks forward to continuing to provide high quality testing services to our customers.
