Cetane Testing

Testing is performed by highly trained chemist/technicians using the latest analytical techniques and standards and complying with national and regulatory standards to ensure accurate test results.
Cetane testing requires testing for the Cetane Number, Derived Cetane Number and Calculated Cetane Index. These tests measure diesel and fuel oil characteristics to determine fuel quality.
Bureau Veritas is able to test cetane number by different techniques as per following methods IP 617, ASTM D6890, ASTM D7668, ASTM D7170, ASTM D613, EN ISO 5165, EN ISO 15195, EN ISO 16715, EN ISO 16144
